Window of the Heart

Art Medium: Photography

Art Dimensions: 8 x 10

Art Price: SOLD

Christ’s light is available to all – Sometimes the cares of life, the dirt and grime of sin, and our own choices make it harder to see the light. If we will allow God’s love to open the window of our heart, we can clearly see the light that Jesus can shine on our path and in our hearts. For God who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Cor. 4:6

The Beloved Disciple-
Jesus said to him (Peter), “What if I want him to remain until I come? What concern is it of yours? You follow me… There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written. (John 21:22,25)
Unimaginable!!!

Nicole

Art Medium: Watercolor and ink

Art Dimensions: 11 x 14

Art Price: SOLD

This drawing was created for my friend who has been able to truly show me Christ’s light. She has been a testament to His faithfulness and gentleness. She has been able to show me how Christ waits on us to call on Him, and she emanates the joy that comes from Christ only. As David called to God in his distress in Psalm 18, he was delivered. My friend has constantly called on God and not only has he delivered her, has delighted in her. As written within my drawing, because of Christ’s love and light, we each are able to say, “He rescued me because he has delighted in me,” Psalm 18:19.

The rising sun evokes both anticipation and calm, stirs renewal as well as the comfort of certainty. More constant than the sun remains Our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I AM here

Art Medium: Graphites, Chalk Pastel

Art Dimensions: 17 x 14

Art Price: $400

The little girl, in a dark world set apart from the viewer by the mere glass of a car window, may only seem like a little urchin begging for food. There are many of them. At first glance of such a scene, most only see a dirty young child. But the artist would like to point out that this girl has been placed in your way, purposefully by God. And He’s waiting on you.

Into Marvelous Light

Art Medium: Acrylics

Art Dimensions: 24″x 20″

Art Price: $100

In this painting, I tried to portray the marvelous light of the cross that that we, as believers, are called into. The orange rays represent the light that is breaking through the darkness (dark blue). The cross is in white to represent Christ’s pure sacrifice. I also chose to put I Peter 2:9 onto the painting because it goes very well with the message of the artwork and also is very applicable to us as Christians today. I hope you enjoy.

Following the Light

Art Medium: Acrylic

Art Dimensions: 11 x 14

Art Price: SOLD

I was watching TV several months ago and was captivated seeing a silhouette of an elephant family walking in front of an incredible sunset. I thought about the elephant and God’s creation of such magnificent animals. They learn as youngsters, raise their young, survive as adults and communicate with their family much like us. They have gentle love and tight personal bonds. I wanted to depict a beautiful sunset that reminded me of the warm love God has for our world and a male elephant leading his family towards the light seeking refuge, comfort and peace. The sunlight in my painting represents the light of Christ who is the light of the world for all creatures great and small.

Ye are The Light of The World

Art Medium: Acrylic Inks on Paper

Art Dimensions:28 x 20.5

Art Price: $ 1,200

The inspirational scripture for this monochromatic, collage style painting is Matthew 5:14.The color Blue is used to symbolize trust, truth, and faith. The trust that one must have in “The Light” as a buckler from all present and unseen danger. The Truth written in the word of God, which is a lamp unto my feet and a “Light” unto my path. The Faith that is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The Figures show two views of how “The Light” guides and protects us daily. The heavenly hands holding the world signifies the need for believers to let their “Light” so shine before all men, that they may see the good works and glorify our Father which is in Heaven.

The Children of the Light

Art Medium: Acrylic

Art Dimensions:36 x 20

Art Price: SOLD

“The Children of the Light was created to portray the significance given to children by Jesus The Light. While Ephesians 5:8 and 1 Thessalonians 5:5, specifically use the phrase “Children of Light”, my goal was to highlight that Jesus likened greatness, humility, and acceptance to the characteristics of a child. The brightly burning candle is symbolic of Jesus’ love and light that never goes out. The faint imagery of Christ with arms open wide,as well as,the diversity of the praying children, symbolizes that all are welcome to bask in the Marvelous Light, which is Jesus Christ.

The River

Art Medium: Oil Paint

Art Dimensions: 20″x16″

Art Price: SOLD

The image depicted is of the Arkansas River in Buena Vista, Colorado. Every year the grandeur of the mountains set next to the simple flowing solitude of the river puts me in awe. God is great. He is the author and creator of goodness; it is his mountains and his river. It is our blessing from God. Light is seen erupting to earth from the heavens. It is the light that illuminates the mountains and dances on the river. Jesus Christ is God incarnate. Jesus is God sent from heaven illuminating our lives, illuminating the truth, illuminating the way. Jesus is the light.

The Light Outshines The Darkness

Art Medium: Pastel on Mexican Bark Paper

Art Dimensions: 23 x 16

Art Price: $500

Light radiates from the Infant Jesus, the Light of the World, seated on the lap of His Mother, Mary who serves as the throne for the Baby King.
Beneath the two figures is a rainbow of three strands of bright ribbons. Their soft glow is a contrast to the fourth strand which is a symbol of darkness.
The third figure in the shadow of the Holy Child and His Mother is an image of darkness who offers to the world a dazzling globe filled with empty promises.
In truth, the Light of Christ is the only radiance which always outshines the lure of darkness.
