Silent Song
Art Medium: Mixed Media
Art Dimensions: 18×24
Art Price: SOLD
It’s a silent song,
Please try to hear
Sometimes,
When you listen,
You can hear everything,
But sometimes
You don’t want to.
Yet still, the light comes through.
Even in the darkest places.
Simeon’s Hope-A Light of Revelation
Art Medium: oil
Art Dimensions: 24″ x 36″
Art Price: $325
Luke 2:22-38 describes Jesus being brought to the temple by His parents “to present Him to the Lord” according to the Mosaic Law. There, Simeon, a “righteous and devout” man saw the promised Messiah he had long awaited. He took Him in his arms and thanked God for allowing him before he died, to see His salvation, “a Light of Revelation to the Gentiles”. I chose to portray Mary as giving thanks to God in spite of Simeon’s prophesy of the sorrow she would eventually bear. Anna has just seen Jesus for the first time and would also give thanks for the Messiah she had longed for.

A light appeared in the heavens when Jesus was born. It illuminated the birthplace of the Messiah and guided many to Him. His light guides us still today.

Inspiration for this piece comes from my appreciation for Christ’s presence and evidences all over the world. This image was captured in Costa Rica, where Christ’s light shines in many of the country’s poor areas.

Face of crucified Savior. Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. Heaven’s Light

For this piece, I was inspired by the exhibition of light after a storm. My painting features a tree with the sun shining through. The tree represents Earth and the light represents Jesus.
A Light Unto My Path
Art Medium: Oil
Art Dimensions: 16″ x 20″
Art Price: SOLD
This painting was inspired by Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” God’s Word continually guides and directs our lives. Even when we pass through the darkness of decision, the light of His Word is present to illuminate the way.
The Word is the Lamp
Art Medium: clay
Art Dimensions: 17×10
Art Price: SOLD
For this piece I hand built a replica of the Holy Bible. It is crafted out of clay and painted with glaze and acrylic. On the left, Psalm 119:105 is carved. On the right, the same verse is carved, but in Hebrew. I chose to design this piece because it displays that Jesus is the light for our paths. The diverse language choice exhibits the international diversity that Jesus works throughout.

Angel 1

As the light from heaven begins to appear, and the world prepares to rejoice, this angel considers the ultimate price that will be paid.
Reflection
Art Medium: Oil on Canvas
Art Dimensions: 24″ x 36″
Art Price: SOLD
This painting is a reflection of candle light through glass. While its subject matter is very literal, I see a higher connotation: The way we reflect our Savior’s light to others and the way He shows us His light. The light in the painting isn’t static; it isn’t dull.
Jesus The Light
Art Medium: Watercolor
Art Dimensions: 6×13

Luke chapter 2:9 “The angel of the Lord appeared to them as the glory of the Lord shone around them.” The shepherds as well as the three wise men saw the light which led them to find the baby Jesus laying in a manger. I interpreted this scripture as viewing it from a nearby hillside.
In The Beginning
Art Medium: mixed media
Art Dimensions: 8X10
Art Price: $145
Genesis Chapter 1:3 Then God said “Let there be light” and there was light. God saw how good the light was, then God created the earth and sky. The water under the sky was gathered into its basin and the dry land appeared. The light was the beginning of creation. As I reflected on this verse, my thoughts inspired me to paint my interpretation
