Rescued
Art Medium: Acrylic
Art Dimensions: 30 x 24 x 1
Art Price: $200
This painting conveys the hope that I have found in Christ. He has been the light in my deepest darkness. When the clouds of life gather around me, I am not overwhelmed. He wraps His light around me and my heart is still. His light has come and I am rescued.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” Isaiah 60:1
Consumed
Art Medium: Acrylic
Art Dimensions: 18 x 24
Art Price: $100
This painting portrays the all encompassing light of Christ. When I painted this, I thought a lot about how Jesus has consumed the darkness in my life. I thought about everything he has helped me overcome.
“The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” John 1:5
Jesus is the Light
Art Medium: oil on linen
Art Dimensions: 22″ x 22″
Art Price: $650
The minute I saw the scripture for this year’s festival I thought of this painting. I hope I captured the newness, the preciousness of our Lord, and the fact that he was a very human sacrifice.
Earth Changed Forever
Art Medium: Acrylic
Art Dimensions: 19″ x 16″
Art Price: $160
The inspiration for this painting came from three passages.
Gen. 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
This solitary life, this simple birth, changed Earth forever. The painting is a satellite view of Planet Earth in the darkness of space, with the figures of Mary and Jesus among the clouds and water vapor. The golden halos show the heavenly significance of this birth.

Lighting The Way
Art Medium: Mixed Media
Art Dimensions: 22″ x 28″
Art Price: SOLD
The inspiration for this painting came from John 8:12.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Churches today provide a path towards the light of eternal life. The painting shows light from the heavens, reflected light from the snow, and light through the stained glass windows of the church. The lighted tree in the foreground is near a path that leads to the church, where people walk in light.
The Wise Still Seek Him
Art Medium: acrylics on canvas
Art Dimensions: 31×23.5
Art Price: $450
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3
The abstract seems to suggest that of a nativity to the right with lots of light flooding in from the top. With a few strokes I gave definition to a feature that resembled a wise man seeking the newborn King, and added the verse above from Daniel to the companion canvas.
From Night to Light
Art Medium: Acrylics on canvas
Art Dimensions: 31×23.5
Art Price: $450
. . . . the sun refused to shine–graves gave up the bodies of holy saints of the past, the ground shook with earthquakes, the veil in the temple was rent in two from top to bottom–and many acknowledged for the first time that Jesus truly was the Light of the World–

On the hillside surrounding Bethlehem, there are small lights and one brilliant star. The shepherds hear the angels singing, “Fear not, for I have brought you good tidings of joy, For on this day is born in the City of David, a savior which is Christ the Lord”

Luke 2:7-20
The birth of Jesus makes a beautiful Christmas scene. The story tells of the following people that were at the birth of Jesus; Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, shepherds, wise men, and the lowly animals in the stable. Jesus, the Light, came into a dark stable. The light shines forever for all to see. The small figurines I made serve as a reminder of Jesus’ birth. These figures are not perfect, but neither are we. Jesus accepts us through grace as we are.
Mary Submits

Luke 1:28-38
The angel Gabriel came to Mary and told her that she was highly favored by the Lord, the Lord was with her, and she was blessed among all women. Mary was afraid. The angel answered her by saying, “The Holy Ghost shall come over you and you will conceive in your womb and deliver a son and His name will be JESUS!”
Mary submitted.
Jesus became the Light of the World.
Light of The World

John 8:12 says that Jesus is the light of the world, and the light is life. In this painting you will observe that Jesus is watching over those who are in His light and are alive and worshiping Him. Those who are in the darkness of the earth are shown as ghostly figures that may be alive in body but are not alive in the Spirit. They may be searching but appear depressed and confused. They do not believe that Jesus is Son of God, but it is not too late to repent. In the outer darkness you see ghostly figures who have totally refused him as the Son of God and who will not repent. These Spirits will spend eternity in the bottomless pit assigned to unbelievers.

The Eye of Righteousness
Art Medium: Watercolor
Art Dimensions: 21 x 26
Art Price: $375
I was intrigued by the intended message in Matthew 6:22,- – that is “The lamp of the body is the eye. If the eye be sound, thy whole body will be full of light.” Reading further, in 6:23, he says: “If the eye be evil, the whole body will be full of darkness”, This helped explain to me Matthew’s intent, which I believe is to point out how the eye of the righteous will be full of the light that Jesus brings to the world to counteract the darkness of evil. And this is what I tried to capture in as dramatic a way as practical with my humble illustration.
